AUSTREX commenced in 1973 and has invested in complex supply chains to connect Australian primary producers to global export markets for more than 45 years.
AUSTREX became a division of the Packer Consolidated Pastoral Company Group in 1993. In 2009, AgTrade was formed to acquire AUSTREX operations by way of MBO.
The AgTrade group has annual turnover approaching $400 million and includes a portfolio of businesses focused on the global supply of livestock, genetics, meat products, animal feed products and meat processing.
Our largest business, AUSTREX, is a globally significant livestock export businesses with a team of more than 100 staff across Australia and key international locations. We agist high-quality livestock on more than 50 domestic properties, including a specialist Wagyu herd, and have built long-term relationships with over 10,000 Australia primary producers.
